Why this group?
💜 Traditional baby groups can be tough – but we believe you and your baby deserve to have the same experience as typical parents, without the strain and worries that come with bringing a child with needs into typical groups.
The aim is for you to have the experience and knowledge shared from a traditional baby group without the worry of seeing typical babies. The information shared is tailored to the needs of your baby and a place to meet other parents at a similar stage to you.
💜 Raising Embers at The Nest, Didcot, is a weekly developmental class to help your child reach their potential, using evidenced based play and a safe space with other families who truly get it.
We consider ourselves expert parents through our lived experiences.
What to expect:
🎵 Singing & Makaton
🧸 Play & connection
📘 Optional weekly info at the end of each session (e.g. applying for DLA, Carer’s Allowance – we can help!)
💬 Meet parents with babies at a similar stage and of a similar age
💨 Bring your Oxygen tanks, NG/PEG, traches – all welcome, no pity and no stares!
