Terms and Conditions for child supervision during pop-ups

These terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") outline the guidelines and expectations for clients (those who receive a massage therapy)  and volunteers who will supervise children in a play space while a client receives a head and neck massage. Please carefully read and understand these Terms and Conditions before booking a massage slot. 

1. Volunteer Role and Responsibilities:

a. Volunteers will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before assuming their role. b. Volunteers will provide supervision and engage children in age-appropriate activities within the designated play space.

c. Volunteers are not trained in personal care, first aid, or resuscitation, and therefore, cannot provide any such assistance.

d. Volunteers will ensure that children remain within the safe and allocated play space. e. Volunteers will promptly alert the client receiving a head and neck massage of any urgent care needs arising with the child.

 

2. Client Awareness:

a. Clients should be aware that the presence of children in the play space may result in interruptions to their massage session.

b. While volunteers will make every effort to minimize disruptions, clients should understand that the child's needs may require the massage session to be stopped or shortened.

 

3. Child Safety:

a. The safety of the child is of utmost importance. Volunteers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the child.

b. Volunteers will actively engage the child to keep them entertained and reduce the likelihood of disruptions to the clients therapy session.

 

4. Confidentiality:

a. Volunteers must maintain strict confidentiality regarding any personal information about clients and children involved in the program.

 

5. Code of Conduct:

a. Volunteers must adhere to a professional code of conduct, treating clients and children with respect and courtesy.

b. Volunteers should refrain from any behavior that may be considered inappropriate or harmful in any way.

7. Reporting Concerns:

a. Volunteers must promptly report any concerns, incidents, or issues related to child safety or well-being to the client and this may cause an interruption to the clients booked therapy session.

8. Termination of Volunteer Role:

a. The organisation reserves the right to terminate a clients treatment if they fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions or exhibit behaviour that is deemed unacceptable or harmful.

 

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

a. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at the discretion of the organisation, and clients will be informed of any updates.

 

By requesting child supervision in the play space, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Your commitment to these guidelines is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of the children and clients involved.

How do we collect information?

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated below only.
